Dr. Emily Sharp was born and raised in Tulsa, Oklahoma, but recently moved to Denver to be closer to the mountains. She earned her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from the University of Oklahoma and a bachelor’s degree in health education and promotion from Oklahoma State University. In her free time, she enjoys reading, hiking, traveling, baking, strength training, pilates, and spending time with her husband and 2 dogs.
Emily was determined to become a physical therapist after experiencing the amazing impact of physical therapy herself when she was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis over a decade ago. Inspired by her own experience, she values helping her patients get back to doing what they love and improve their quality of life through movement and whole-body wellness. She is passionate about educating and building trusting relationships with her patients so they can feel autonomous throughout their recovery. Emily is certified in dry needling, balance and vestibular training, and has completed Herman & Wallace Pelvic Floor Level 1 training. She is excited to continually learn new skills and techniques to help her patients reach their goals.
