Marissa is originally from New York and recently relocated to Denver,
drawn by her love of the mountains and the active lifestyle Colorado
has to offer. She earned her Bachelor’s degree from Cornell University and her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from New York University. She is a board-certified Geriatric Clinical Specialist (GCS) and is passionate about helping people feel strong, supported, and empowered in their bodies.
After years of working with post-surgical and aging populations,
Marissa was drawn to pelvic floor physical therapy for its ability to
deeply and holistically improve quality of life. Her approach blends
clinical expertise with a strong understanding of the nervous system,
incorporating breathwork, body awareness, and mindful movement.
She completed her 200-hour yoga teacher training in Bali and enjoys weaving mindfulness and restorative practices into sessions when appropriate. Marissa believes healing happens when people feel safe, seen, and supported—and she strives to create that environment in every session.
Outside the clinic, Marissa enjoys hiking, yoga, reading, live music, and exploring local farmers markets. She’s passionate about
international travel and finds joy in connecting with people and cultures around the world. Some of her favorite experiences include trekking in New Zealand, going on safari in South Africa, and slurping oysters on the coast of Australia. She’s always on the hunt for a good matcha and could talk about travel for hours
