Leanna Racine earned her Doctor of Physical Therapy from Emory University, where she received the Susan B. Herdman Award for Excellence in Clinical Practice. Her mission is to help people feel resilient, capable, and confident in their bodies through every season of life. Leanna is an experienced clinician and manager, and throughout her career has completed advanced training and continuing education to help her patients manage issues related to pregnancy/postpartum, urinary and bowel concerns, and pelvic pain. She is incredibly passionate about her work, because she knows pelvic floor physical therapy truly changes lives.
Prior to joining N2, Leanna directed a busy outpatient orthopedics clinic, managing a team and treating a diverse patient population with a wide range of acute, chronic, and post-operative conditions; as well as initiating and building a pelvic health program onsite. She then went on to focus more closely on pelvic health, joining a boutique practice offering one-on-one specialized care. Leanna tailors each session to her patient’s unique needs, utilizing her advanced training in treatments such as manual therapy techniques, Trigger Point Dry Needling, mat Pilates, suspension-based neuromuscular training, strength training, and working with female athletes.
Above all else, Leanna believes in connecting deeply with her patients and truly listening to their stories in order to provide the care they need to feel their best. As a new mom, Leanna is particularly inspired by the changes bodies undergo to support new life, and she especially loves working with pregnant and postpartum people. She recently relocated with her family to Colorado from San Antonio to enjoy an active and outdoorsy life near the mountains. When she’s not in the clinic, you can find Leanna spending time with her sweet family, hiking local trails with her rescue pups, and making intricate clay jewelry. A former collegiate soccer player and competitive athlete, Leanna still loves challenging her body at CrossFit, loves traveling and exploring, and all things animals and nature.
